ABOUT:  The coat a man reached for when the day required something of him. It doesn't stay this stiff. The indigo gives at the elbows first, then the front edge, then everywhere you reach, and somewhere in year two it stops looking new and starts looking like yours. 

Six pockets — four out, two hidden inside — so it carries more than it lets on.

Gold contrast stitching runs the length of it. The buttonholes are finished by hand. Tortoise buttons. Twin flap pockets.

Styling Recommendation:  Wear it open over a tee and a denim or Dickies.

FABRIC:  100% Cotton Denim

FIT:  Boxy fit - Get your normal size.  For a snug fit, size down one size.

• Medium - Shoulder: 19.25, Chest: 47, Length: 29.25
• Large - Shoulder: 20, Chest: 49, Length: 30

CARE:

Don't wash this for a few months. Denim earns its character by being worn — the fades develop where you bend, fold, and reach, and washing too early erases the map before it's drawn.

When the time comes:

• Wash: Machine wash cold, inside out, on its own the first time (the indigo will run)
• Dry: Hang or line dry. Never the dryer.
